our origin
From humble beginnings in 1992, the colourworld group started as a 2 man operation running a print copy shop in Hampshire.
Today, the company's infrastructure has changed significantly.
By investing in the plant, equipment and people we have ensured that in this ever changing
marketplace we remain at the forefront of our industry. From the latest Heidelberg B1 Supra Setter, able to produce
33 B1 plates an hour, to the versatility of both our digital and litho presses, we are able to offer our customers a
range of printing solutions. All of this would not happen without our highly skilled and experienced staff that we employ.
our offering
With the constant advances in technology, we have kept ahead by investing throughout our company to ensure we provide
the most efficient and cost effective solutions for all aspects of our customers' print requirements.
Operating 24/6, we provide full pre-press capabilities, digital printing and litho, using either of our Heidelberg presses,
the SM102 10 colour perfecting B1 or the XL75 5 colour plus coater B2. This is complimented by our fully-equipped finishing
department. As all of this is offered in-house, you can be assured that we have total control over each project, from
receipt of artwork files through to delivery of the finished goods. This enables us to work with our customers should
amendments to the job be required at any stage throughout the project. Each of our customers has a dedicated account
manager so that there is always a point of contact that is fully briefed and can answer any questions that may arise.
In addition to our core business of printing, we also offer full creative design and digital media services.

The colourworld group is keen to show that we take our effect on the environment seriously and consequently steps have
been taken to show we run our business in the most eco-friendly way possible.
We are FSC and PEFC accredited which are
internationally recognised symbols of commitment to the environment and demonstrates to our clients that we can trace our
paper supply back to sustainable forests. This measure allows our customers to make socially and environmentally responsible
purchasing decisions.
Our house paper is the "Lumi" brand which is FSC accredited and comes from an ISO 14001 certified manufacturer.
It is elemental chlorine free (ECF) fibre sourced from well managed forests.
In addition, we use vegetable inks and our plate processor is chemical free.
Where possible we also recycle all paper waste, plastic and metal cans.
